Frequently asked questions

When you come see me for a Reiki session, we will first discuss why you are seeking Reiki. From there I'll explain how Reiki can help and how I will conduct the session. You will lie on the massage table, fully clothed, while soft meditation music plays in the background. I will either place my hands gently on your body or just above it while transferring Reiki energy to you. Some people may feel tingling or warmth, some feel nothing but a sense of peaceful calm overcome them. Whatever you feel, it is the right thing for you. Sessions last for one hour and when I'm done, I will guide you out of a meditative state and back into your body.

Reiki has no contraindications as it is a gentle, loving energy that benefits everyone.

Somatic movement is always based on the individual and any injuries or pain will be discussed and alternative positions will be provided.

Sound Bath Meditations are not advised for anyone with a pacemaker, a history of seizures or those with metal in their body.

No, because Reiki is energy and energy is not confined to a specific time or space, I can provide distant Reiki sessions. I do this through Zoom so we can still see each other and the effects are no different than if you were in the same room as me.
